Our first pottery workshop
Participants will be given 2lbs of clay for their handbuild creation using slab building, pinch potting and coiling techniques demonstrated by the instructor ( there will be no wheel throwing). Participants can create their own project or use one of many templates provided. Popular items to make are mugs, tumblers, bowls, soap dishes, vases, ect. Choose to paint on site with underglazes ( similar to acrylic paint) or choose from a classic pottery glaze that will be added later by the instructor. Pieces will be taken back to the instructors studio for firing in the kiln and glazed with food safe glazes and returned to the store around 3 weeks later.

At the time of ordering we will confirm your dimensions and stain colour. Once we start production of your item, we can not make any changes. Please be sure you measurements are correct and take the time you need to choose your stain.
Please be sure to check the spelling on the mock up. Once approved we can not make changes after the fact.
Do not leave signs outside unprotected from the elements as over time it will take its toll on your piece. Place under a covered area and apply clear coat to keep it protected.
